Privacy Policy
The short version
Gothic Remake Lockpicker is a static website. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no cookies of our own, and no analytics or tracking. We do not collect, store, or share any personal data — there is simply nothing on this site that could.
The solver runs in your browser
Everything you enter into the solver — plate counts, pin positions, links — is processed locally in your browser by JavaScript. None of it is sent to our server or anywhere else. Closing the tab discards it.
Server logs
Like almost every website, this one is served by a hosting provider that keeps standard server logs (typically your IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps). Those logs are created and controlled by the hosting provider under its own privacy practices, not by us, and we do not use them to identify anyone.
Advertising in the future
We may add advertising later (for example Google AdSense) to cover hosting costs. If we do, the ad provider would use its own cookies and tracking technologies, governed by its own privacy policy — for AdSense, that includes Google's use of cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. This page will be updated before any ads go live. As of today, no ads are running and no third-party cookies are set by this site.
